A couple of sundays ago my mom and I went down to Santa Cruz to have breakfast and walk on the beach. It was really fun, and great weather. The beach we were on is right next to the harbor so we got to see the lighthouse at work in the fog. It was the ideal sunday morning.

Farmers Market
Im really fortunate that my family and I live near a really amazing farmers market full of cool music, organic fruits and veggies, plants, food, and art. These pictures only give you a little glimpse into whats going on. You don't see the art, taste the baked goods, smell the fresh breads, hear the music, and feel the warmth of the people bustling about around you; it one of my favorite places to go. ( I also love eating all the fruit samples! )
Cupcake Explosion!
Theres been a lot of cupcakes around my house lately. We've had owl cupcakes ( which i failed to photograph, sorry), cupcake shaped cakes, and little tiny cupcakes. My sister L requested the cupcake shaped cake for her birthday along with copious amounts of rainbow sprinkles. And the tiny little guys are for my soccer team, I had a babysitting job at my house and I decided to make little cupcakes with her for my team.

My Type of Collectables
Something you should know about me, I am almost always wearing a pair of Converse. And not till about a week ago did it occur to me to "officially" start collecting my beloved shoes. Because really they had just been sitting in my closet gathering dust, so I decided to date all of them with the year I "retired" them and put them away. Unfortunately some of my shoes are currently being employed by my younger sister and I could not take them for my collection yet. And any other pairs I had have been long gone, usually taken from me by my mother saying they are much too disgusting to wear in public. (Even worse I'm still age that my mom can do that)
The Woman Who Bled Rainbows
I got to inspiration for this watercolor from a different artist's work. I loved how the colors seem to fade from her, I like to think of the colors as emotions happy pinks, melancholy blues, angry grays, and pleasant greens. It was fun to do, I got to use a lot of my bright watercolor pencils, which was exciting!
